Laura Melissa Vick, age 24 of Rockwall, TX, passed away January 10, 2010. She was born May 9, 1985, in Carmel, CA. Laura enjoyed drawing, writing poems, and singing. She loved her family and her dog Rollie. Laura worked in sales and was a member of Lake Pointe Church.
She is survived by her parents: Wendy Ann & Larry Ryan of Rockwall, TX; fiancé: Michael Moore and his parents: Kay & Mike Moore; aunt: Erica Robinson and fiancé Jeff Foster of California; Jeff’s parents: Jeff & Karen Foster of California; grandparents: Gerdi Robinson of California, and Mary & Larry Ryan Sr. of Rockwall, TX; aunt: Betty Foster and her two children of California, aunts: Samantha Ryan, Crystal Ryan, Carol Spivey, Lisa Ryan and Jean Shepard, all of Rockwall, TX; uncles: Brian Ryan, Robert Ryan, both of Rockwall, TX; and cousins: Jasmine and Jennifer Robinson and Lance Hammond of California. Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents: Tania & John Ahrens; and uncle: John Zakis.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Friday, January 15, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel with Dr. Aubrey Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from noon to 2:00pm, prior to the service.
