Dearest Patty, Jennifer & Scotty

Don and I felt like we JUST saw you in Salado on your anniversary. Don and I commented to each other how great you both looked!! We enjoyed talking to you about our kids and how they were grown and "settled" and how we enjoyed being grandparents!! Don talked with Jim about Encore and how Don had worked with and knew the same people there. It seems like it was just the "other day".

Patty , you and Jim have always been a great example how a Christian couple & Christian family should act. You always show you love for each other and your family and especially how you show your love and kindness to others. Our heart is aching for your loss and for ours to lose such a great friend. We really don't know what to say but that we love you and you will be in our hearts and prayers

Patty, Jennifer, and Scott, and family,

Bill and I have difficulty expressing in words how much we loved Jim and all of you. It is hard to imagine your family without him. . .he was such a great husband and Daddy and, as we KNOW, granddaddy. But, as you go through this journey of dealing with your grief and missing him, you can rest in the comfort that one day you will be reunited with him again in Heaven and he will no longer have any pain. Please know that Bill and I love you so much and we are continuing to pray that you would feel God's loving embrace as He cares for you.  Loving you, Bill & Anne Morton

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why Jim left this earth so soon, or why Jim left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that he died, but that he lived. And that his life gave us memories too precious to forget.

I pray that the Lord will bring you peace, comfort, and understanding………………..
