The sun rose for Henry Cleveland Du Peé, age 86 of DeLeon, TX, on July 6, 1923, and the sun set on January 12, 2010. He was born in Emeryville, CA, to Henry C. Sr. & Ada (Rice) Du Peé. Henry proudly fought for his country in the United States Army during WWII. He retired as a cement mason and county inspector in Sacramento, CA. Henry was a member of the Masons when he lived in California. His favorite past-time was catching fish and he loved cooking.
Henry is survived by his wife: Dolly (Adelma) Du Peé of DeLeon, TX; children: Dolly Du Peé of Ft. Worth, TX, Cassandra Lowrance & husband Barry of Rockwall, TX, Jeffrey Du Peé in active service in Iraq, Mike Sadam & wife Yolonda of San Jose, CA, and Gwendolyn Pontillas & husband Manny of Stockton, CA; grandchildren: Jacquelin, Zachary and Alexander Du Peé, Katelyn and Julia Lowrance and Reese Sadam; and brother-in-law: Sterling Price & wife Anna of Gorman, TX. Henry was preceded in death by his parents; 12 brothers and sisters; and son: Kevin A. Du Peé.
He will be truly missed, always deeply loved and never forgotten.
