Harold Gene Meloling, age 78 of Mesquite, TX, and formerly of Royse City, TX, passed away January 20, 2010. He was born November 4, 1931, in Liverpool, NY, to Henry Jay & Flora Catherine (MacDonald) Meloling. Harold proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He made his living as an airplane mechanic and was a member of Chisholm Baptist Church.
Harold is survived by his wife: Dottie Meloling of Mesquite, TX; daughter: Sharon K. Holt & husband David of Greenville, TX; nephew: Buz Meloling & wife Karen A. of Rowlett, TX; sons: Larry Ragsdale of Campbell, TX, and Doug Ragsdale & wife Stephanie of Corinth, TX; grandchildren: Daniel, Andrew, Kathi, Jeff, Cariann, Dewaine, Dalen and Lizzy; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife: Uvonne Meloling; daughter: Charlotte Meloling; and brothers: Henry J. Jr, & Lawrence Meloling.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel with Dr. Rocky Weatherford officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening at the funeral home from 4:00 to 6:00pm. |
