Anne H. Fowler, age 76 of Rowlett, TX, passed away February 1, 2010. She was born March 25, 1933, in Fort Worth, TX. Anne, who was known by most as "Granny," was a very loving and giving person. She loved taking care of infants and toddlers and was instrumental in the start of her daughter Lolisa’s day care. Anne was her daughter’s “guardian angel,” helping to raise her grandson Josh and being a part of their lives for 25 years. She truly enjoyed visiting her special cousin Carol Vaughan in Waco, TX.
Anne is survived by her daughter: Lolisa Horton; son: Kerry Horton; grandson: Joshua Horton; sisters: Sally Skaggs and Susan Landers. She was preceded in death by her husband Al Fowler, parents William Floyd and Polly H. Birdsong, and brother George Birdsong.
A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rowlett Chapel. The family would like to thank Dwight Owens and Louie White for the special care of Anne and the family in her final days. |
