Charles M. Thompson, age 78 of Wills Point, TX, passed away February 3, 2010. He was born March 4, 1931, in Rockwall County, TX, to Jesse Marion & Floy Mae (Dawson) Thompson. Charles graduated from Rockwall High School in 1948. He enjoyed fishing and worked as a machinist for John E. Mitchell for 35 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Rockwall, TX.
 
He is survived by his daughters: Rita Isaacs & husband Cliff of Ladonia, TX, Susan Hall & husband Ron of Wills Point, TX, Tina Wilfong & husband David of Rockwall, TX, and Janet Kenney of Garland, TX; grandchildren: April, Scott, Autumn, Sara, Ronnie, David Jr, Zach, Austin, Emily, Paula and Krystal; great grandchildren: Scott Allen, Justin, Colton, Colby, Thomas, Kaitlyn, Chase, Noah, Nolan and Makyna; sister: Betty Frazier of Emory, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Joan (Fischer) Thompson in 2007; and sister: Joann.
 
Graveside services will be held 12:30pm, Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning at the funeral home, prior to the service, from 10:00am to 12:00pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Ste. 750, 4144 N. Central Expy, Dallas, TX 75204.
