Bobbie Jean  Stovall

 

Bobbie Jean Stovall, age 75 of Rockwall, TX, passed away February 8, 2010. She was born September 6, 1934, in Lone Oak, TX, to Bennie F. & Inez (Reed) Bowman.  Bobbie was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Lone Oak.

 

She is survived by her husband: Donnie Stovall of Rockwall, TX; sons: Wayne Tipton of Rockwall, TX; Michael Tipton of Batesville, AR, and Stephen Tipton and Ronnie Stovall, both of Rockwall, TX; daughters: Debbie Burns & husband Joe of Rockwall, TX, and Tamera Sneed & husband James of Ashflat, AR; sisters: Jeanette Riley & husband Bill of Alabama, and Julia Schultz & husband Martin of Rowlett, TX; brothers: Bennie Bowman, Jr. & wife Joann of Lone Oak, TX, and Jimmy Bowman & wife Kay of Paris, TX; half-sister: Louise Patterson of Greenville, TX; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents.

 

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel with Dr. Aubrey Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Heath Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Ste. 750, 4144 N.
