Hugh Thomas Nalls, age 81 and a lifetime resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away February 14, 2010. He was born August 19, 1928, in Dallas, TX, to Topsy and Ruby (Bedford) Nalls. Thomas served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Rockwall Volunteer Fire Department for 41 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rockwall and the Trinity Masonic Lodge.
Thomas is survived by his wife: Mildred Nalls; son: Randy Nalls and wife Shana; grandchildren: Kendall, Laurel and Holden Nalls, all of Rockwall, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Karen Nalls Wylie; sisters: Jan Nalls Cullins, Oma Jean Nalls Payne and Dorothy Nalls Odom.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, February 16, 2010, in the M.L. Jones Chapel of First Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Crouch officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Mildred and Randy,
We were so sorry to learn of Thomas's passing. Our thoughts and prayer's go out to all of you. It is hard at first but in time it gets easier knowing they are in a better place with no pain.
