Robert T. Nelson, age 63 of Rowlett, TX, passed away February 25, 2010. He was born January 17, 1947, in Birmingham, AL, to Tom and Clara (Floyd) Nelson. Robert enjoyed music and the theater. He worked in admissions at the University of Texas at Dallas and as a librarian at the Dallas Public Library. He loved his family and had a special place in his heart for his granddaughter Lea.
Robert is survived by his wife of 34 years: Luanne Nelson of Rowlett, TX; granddaughter: Lea Nelson; good friend: Scott Baird and wife Yannique of Garland, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Brittny Nelson and his brother Jim Nelson.
A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Firewheel Bible Fellowship in Garland. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon. |
