Ruby Sherrard  Boles

Ruby Sherrard Boles, a longtime resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away February 27, 2010, at the age of 91. She was born May 9, 1918, in Streetman, TX, to George Boliver and Lena Mae (Whitehead) Sherrard. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a devoted homemaker, married on February 10, 1940, to Jesse Boles in Love County, OK.

Ruby is survived by sons: Jerry Boles and wife Janet of Magnolia, TX, and George Boles and wife Jan of Rockwall, TX; grandchildren: Cheryl and Patrick Kannar of Austin, TX, Matt and Debbie Brown of Kingwood, TX, Reuel Hunt of Littleton CO, Stanton and Liz Brown of Sugar Land, TX, and Becky Boles of Lubbock, TX; great-grandchildren: Blake, Stephanie, Audrey and Alyssa Brown, Dalton Reichert, and Bethany Kannar; double-niece: Sharon Wright and husband Kenneth of Wagner, TX; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Boles in 1972, her parents and ten siblings.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, March 5, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel with Dr. Joe Pool officiating. Interment will follow in Grove Hill Memorial Park.
