Sherwin “Willy” Dwain Lasyone, age 60 of Royse City, TX, passed away March 1, 2010. He was born May 22, 1949, in New Boston, TX, to Roy Sr. & Dorothy (Gray) Lasyone. Willy proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was employed as a supervisor in the construction industry and was a member of the Ridin’ High Cowboy Church in Union Valley, TX.
Willy is survived by his father Roy C. Lasyone, Sr. of Pineville, LA; son: Donovan Lasyone of El Paso, TX; daughter: Tina Parker of Cleveland, MS; brother: Roy Lasyone, Jr. of Dayton, TX; sister: Darlene Johnson of Pineville, LA; and grandchildren: Christen, Catrina and Nathan Lasyone, Colby Parker and Brett Myers. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Gray Lasyone.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel. The family will receive friends Saturday morning at the funeral home, prior to the service, from 8:00am to 10:00am.
